The LCANZ’s Aged Care and Community Services Networking Forum will now be held as online presentations, after the in-person event scheduled for late May was postponed due to the recent COVID outbreak in Victoria. The executive officer for Local Mission, Dr Tania Nelson, says while it was extremely disappointing to have to call off the planned Albury New South Wales-based forum, the upside is that more aged care and community services representatives will be able to take part in an online environment. She says registered participants will be notified about the availability and timing of virtual forum sessions, which will also be posted through the Ministry with the Ageing webpage (www.lca.org.au/ministry-with-ageing/).
